Jan/Feb....2011 is Flyin'!

She's definitely on the move! We call her the "anti-helper" as she likes to unfold laundry, knock over cups, attempt to eat mommy's earrings, you name it...she's into everything. Her vibrant and extroverted personality along with those adorable dimples continue to captivate our hearts every day! We love our Natalie girl!!! It's hard to believe she's going on  11 months now...we'll be celebrating her first birthday before we know it!

Here we are celebrating Valentine's Day at Taco Bell. We're exchanging our love letters to each other. :)

Then we went to Meijer and Wes splurged on this fancy ride for Miss N!

LOVE that smile!

A few other updates:
-We recently got new flooring in our house (everywhere except for the kitchen and bathroom.) This was our amazing Christmas present from my parents. It makes a huge difference and looks wonderful!

- I've been notified that I'll be losing my job next year, pending the school board's vote. It's been hard for me and there's definitely been tears...but I KNOW that God is faithful and trustworthy. The fact that I even got that job is a miracle, so I want to be able to rejoice over my wonderful five years at Fortville Elementary. I'm also reminded of how I was an emotional wreck then I HAD to return to teaching....I was completely surprised at how God blessed me in that decision. So basically, even though it's painful and disappointing, I just want to be where God wants me to be. I'll keep an eye out for art teaching jobs, and at the same time start pursuing the possibility of starting my own business offering art lessons for homeschool groups, after-school, birthday parties, etc. Pray for open and closed doors...and for me to be flexible!

-Wes is really enjoying his job with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis. In January, he was gone for a week at the Gulf Coast for a build. He had a great time, but missed us girls desperately. We missed him too!

-Only another month until our very first "real" vacation to Sanibel Island Florida! We are so excited!
